Camera Manual

Always take some trial shots before actual shots.

2. What accessories are available?
Battery, AC adapter, AC power supply cord, DC cord, Wireless remote, Eye cup, Microphone holder, screws, shoulder belt, microphone holder adapter, lense cap strap, DVD cassette tapes.

3. What items are needed to prepare?
AC adapter, AC power supply cord, DC cord, tape.

4. Perform and describe how to turn on the camera?
While pressing on lock release, move the power switch to on.

5. Perform and describe how to insert a Mini DV Tape?
Slide the eject switch in the direction the arrow points. Insert the cassette tape into the holder with the butt down.

6. Describe how to start shooting.
Look at your subject in the view finder. Press the start/stop button on the power switch to start shooting. To stop shooting you just press stop.

7. Describe and perform how to Eject the tape.
Slide it up. Take the tape out. Press push to close the cassette holder. Close the cassette holder only after the cassette holder is completely in position.

8. Perform and describe how to attach and detach the battery.
Attach: Lift up the view finder. Press on the battery and move it down until it locks into place. Then return view finder to the original position.
Detach: Turn the power off. Check that the power lamp has gone off before detaching the battery. Support the battery with your hand so it does not fall.

9. Describe how to shoot in auto mode.
Set the power switch to on. Press auto to switch to auto mode. Look at your subject through the view finder. Press start/stop.

10. What are the shooting techniques for different targets? EXTENSIVE ANSWERS....
Check what you have shot. Find specific scenes. Zoom. Low angle shooting. Self potrait shooting. Zebra pattern. Marker. One shot recording. Changing image size. Opticial image stabilizer.

11. How do you adjust the shutter speed? Why adjust the shutter speed?

12. How do you adjust the White Balance? Why adjust the White Balance? Perform a white balance.

13. How do you use the built-in microphone? When would you use the built in microphone?

14. How do you connect an external microphone to input 2? How do you change the inputs to input 2? CONNECT an external microphone and test.

15. How do you adjust the recording level? Describe and perform.

16. What are scene files? What scene/s should we shoot in?

17. How do you playback video? Perform and describe.

18. Where do you connect the headphones? Perform and describe.
